ReAwakened by Ada Adams (Angel Creek #2)
Publication Date: November 27th, 2012
Book Description:
Becoming a vampire guardian was Dawn Fairchild’s ticket out of the Scarlet House. Fresh off a successful mission, life in Angel Creek should have been great. But when her sort-of-maybe-boyfriend, Sebastian, disappears on a quest to help a beautiful vampire from his past, Dawn finds herself amidst a web of danger, lies, and deceit.

Joining forces with Razor, an enigmatic rebel lacking both a verbal and a physical filter, and her band of Misfits—Brooke, Sophie, Hunter, and Seth—Dawn is thrust into a race against the clock to solve the mystery surrounding brutal Born kidnappings and come to terms with the sudden discovery of her own unique powers. With time ticking away and Born vampires’ lives in jeopardy, it quickly becomes evident that someone—or something—desperately wants Dawn and is willing to shed any amount of blood to get her.

Dawn has only one chance to face her demons and overcome all obstacles standing in her way as she embarks on the biggest mission of her life—one that threatens a deadly outcome for all involved.

My Review of ReAwakened:
5 out of 5 stars!
ReAwakened proved to be just as thrilling as it's predecessor, ReVamped! This series is definitely high on my favorites list. In the second installment of the Angel Creek series, Ada Adams has woven such an amazing and intricate plot filled with even more shocking revelations, action, romance, humor and jaw-dropping events!

One of the things I really loved about this book is that we get a lot more insight into all of the characters. Dawn, the protagonist, has grown a lot and she's going through a lot more emotionally in this book; but she's still a super badass chick! Throughout the course of the story she discovers so much that she still didn't know about her past and her origins; all of which ranges from heart-breaking, surprising, to pretty awesome. Dawn also has some disturbing and haunting experiences to deal with, on top of everything else. But at least she does get some seriously steamy moments alone with Sebastian, even if they sometimes add to her troubles!

Her fellow Angel Creek Guardians--A.K.A. the Misfits--stand out more this time around, and I am so excited about that! It was so great to be able to take a peak into their pasts and learn more about them. They all have a pretty strong bond, and they've become a family as well as friends. There is also the introduction of some new characters, and one of them in particular has become a new favorite of mine: Razor! Oh my, Razor, how I adore thee! All of the characters are amusing in their own way, but I absolutely get a kick out of Razor's suggestive/inappropriate comments and sarcasm--especially when he directs them at Dawn and trips her up a little! But no one gets under Dawn's skin like Sebastian does. Let me just say, he's a lot more available to Dawn in this book and the both of them practically smolder off the pages!

Much to my delight, Dawn and her team continue to kick a lot of butt in this book, and it seems like there is never a dull moment! Someone is kidnapping Born vampires, and Dawn and the Misfits endure a lot to find out who. They get tangled up in a huge mess of mystery and life-threatening circumstances that leads to one heck of an ending! All I know is, Ada Adams sure knows how to keep a girl hanging on for dear life, and I can't wait to read her next book to find out what will happen next!
