Stacking The Shelves (9)

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's a fun way to share what books we recently added to our bookshelves.

 Bought:

-Nevermore by Kelly Creagh (signed)
-Enshadowed (Nevermore #2) by Kelly Creagh (signed)
-Enshadowed bookmark (signed)

First off, let me just say that Nevermore and Enshadowed are two of my favorite books of all time, which makes the author of these books, Kelly Creagh, one of my absolute favorite authors EVER! She recently had a book signing in Kentucky and I wasn't able to attend because I live nowhere near Kentucky, but I was able to call the bookstore there and request to have them send me signed and personalized copies of her books! Yay!! She also included a signed bookmark as well. My life is now complete. =D

-Enshadowed inspired necklace and a bracelet representing Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death.

I came across these gorgeous pieces of jewelry at an online shop called Beaded Ambrosia, on Etsy.com. The seller and maker of these pieces is also a Kelly Creagh and Poe fan, clearly! When I saw them I knew I just had to have them, since I cherish the Nevermore series so much, and since The Masque of the Red Death is my favorite Poe story. The necklace is a reflection of Isobel, who is one of the main characters in the Nevermore series, and the charms on the necklace represent her. The bracelet is awesome because all of the different colored beads represent the rooms in Poe's story, and the skull represents the Red Death of course.

I would definitely recommend checking out Beaded Ambrosia because the seller makes beautiful jewelry and she also has some original jewelry that isn't book themed.

The final book in the Jolie Wilkins series is finally out!! I was very excited to get this in the mail. I think I'm going to hold off a little while on reading it though, because I want to savor it and I also think I may be in denial about the series being officially over. :( BUT, there is going to be a spinoff series so that kind of makes up for it!

    2. If any of you have any questions or comments about Twice Shy or what the twisted brain of the author was meandering through when he wrote it, feel free to drop me a line. :)
