In My Mailbox (14)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a fun way to exhibit the books we recently acquired.

*All titles link to goodreads or Barnes & Noble*

-I'm super stoked to read this!!!!! The premise sounds so good!

-Claudia Gray and Lauren Oliver did a book signing at a bookstore about 4 hours away from where I live. I wasn't able to go but I did arrange for the bookstore to have these books signed and personalized for me. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to prevent this, my name is spelled wrong on both of these. But I'm still excited about them anyway!

Bought:

Balthazar by Claudia Gray
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

-I visited my local used bookstore and stumbled upon these R.L. Stine books! I just had to buy them because his books were such a big part of my childhood, and I haven't read Missing or Dangerous Girls so I'm excited to read those.

I've recently become a big fan of H.P. Mallory, and I absolutely adore her Jolie Wilkins series, so when I read on her blog that she lowered the price of the Dulcie O'Neil eBook series to just $2.99, I knew I had to buy it! I'm sure I'll love this series as well!

What's in your mailbox? =)

  1. Signed books are so awesome! I always try to order signed copies of books I know I'll love from various indie bookstores around the country. I read and enjoyed Pandemonium, and I hope you like it too!

  3. I can't wait to read "Pandemonium." Sorry you didn't make it to the signing! I get my name spelled wrong all the time, too. I'm just happy when it's the correct name and not "Vicky."

  6. I love getting signed stuff ;) The last author signing I went to was about 3 hours away. It's too bad there aren't ever any in my area.

  9. Loving your signed books! :D And it sucks when people misspell your name- I mean, my name's Jenelle, and most people think it's Janelle! :P

But anyway, awesome haul! Enjoy your books!

  11. Balthazar looks great AND you got a signed copy! I can sympathize with the whole name thing. Everyone always thinks I have an "h" on the end of mine.

    Happy Reading!
